Jar of Cheer Sneak Peak

Tomorrow's the day! Finally you'll be able to order from the Holiday Mini Catalog! In the spirit of Holiday Mini Catalog Eve, I put together a Christmas card for you using the Jar of Cheer stamp set.

Isn't this card adorable? I just love how the sponged white ink looks on this card. I hope you didn't pass by the Jar of Love bundle in the big catalog! This set is amazing, and you may have noticed when thumbing through your holiday catalog that it is paired with both a Christmas AND Halloween set! Awesome!

Now, for the exciting news!

This card is part of a 4-part Christmas, Halloween, and two all-occasions card bundle that I'm calling the "Jar-iety Bundle". I will post the remaining cards in the bundle for you to preview over the next few days. If you order both the Jar of Cheer and the Jar of Haunts stamp set from me using my September hostess code (revealed tomorrow), you will receive a card kit from me to make all four cards in the pack.

Here's what …

Thoughtful Branches Update!

Big News! Stampin’ Up! has provided a slight clarification to the limited time offer on the Thoughtful Branches bundle, and I wanted to pass this information along to my customers right away!
This stamp set and bundle has been advertised as being available until August 31, while supplies last…but I just learned last night that what this means is that the stamp set will definitely be available all the way through August 31 even if the original supply is sold out! After August 31, then the set is only available while supplies last.

So, what does this mean for you??? This means that if you’ve been holding off on placing your Thoughtful Branches order thinking that it won’t be available to you….you’re in luck! This stamp set is awesome! I attended a stamp club last night where we made three projects using this bundle, and I was amazed at how versatile it is! It can be used for any occasion, including Halloween and Christmas – which we all know are both right around the corner.

And here’s eve…

More Fall Fun

I love fall! I love the crisp air and leaves, the bright colors, chunky sweaters, tall boots, hay rides, and warm apple cider. It's my favorite time of year. Naturally I'm loving making all these fall cards! They are so much fun and use all my favorite colors!

The Stampin' Up! sets are all so versatile. I've been spending my time combining multiple stamp sets to make all sorts of cards. I'm sticking with the "Thank You" theme because I have so many thank you cards to make in preparation for my wedding showers and wedding coming up over the fall season.

This card uses the new Totally Trees and Wrapped in Warmth stamp sets from the Holiday Mini Catalog along with the cable knit embossing folder that I LOVE working with. The falling leaves are from the Lovely as a Tree stamp set from the big catalog. The "Thanks kindly" sentiment comes from the One Big Meaning stamp set from the big catalog.

Isn't it great when you can combine new stamp sets wi…

Autumn Thank You

Yesterday was my birthday! I got to spend most of my morning making cards. It was a great day!

I spent some time with my stamp sets from the holiday mini, but I also included some of my favorites from the big catalog. You didn't overlook the Vintage Leaves stamp set or the Leaflets framelits for your Big Shot, did you? I had so much fun using both of these on this card - along with the Woodgrain embossing folder, Tags and Labels framelits and the One Big Meaning stamp set. Isn't this card beautiful?

I love the rich, warm colors of fall. For this card, I used Crumb Cake for the base, Cajun Craze for the one background sheet and the ink on the "Thank You", and I used Chocolate Chip for the woodgrain embossing. The leaves are stamped using my Stampin' Marker for the garden green up the middle of them, and then I used my sponge daubers to sponge color onto my stamps in Cajun Craze and Cherry Cobbler. They turned out just perfect, in my opinion! Some garden green bake…

Wrapped in Warmth Sneak Peak

When I browsed through the holiday mini catalog, the Wrapped in Warmth stamp set was the first one that caught my eye. It's a gorgeous, natural and down-to-earth stamp set for Christmas, but ironically I didn't even have Christmas plans for it! I saw the set, and immediately I thought of all the ways I could use it for fall! I have been so excited to get to crafting with it, and last night I finally had the chance!
I combined my new Wrapped in Warmth stamp set with the NEW cable knit embossing folder along with the Vintage Leaves stamp set (which is one of my favorites, by the way), and I created this warm and richly textured fall card. Doesn't it make you want to cozy up in a big sweater on a chilly day?

I LOVE the texture of the cable knit embossing folder. It makes a great background and adds so much to this card - especially on Cherry Cobbler cardstock.
And isn't that leaf beautiful? I have to credit my fiance for that one. I was spending so much time trying to pe…

Nothing screams Halloween like the combination of orange, purple, green, and grey. Those color combinations always get me in the "Halloween spirit", so I was bound and determined to use them as the palette for my next Halloween card.

This card was not complicated at all, but the texture created from the Stampin' Up! dimensionals and embelishments is amazing! What do you think?

So now for the really exciting part! The Spooky Fun stamp set and Halloween Scenes Edgelits bundle go on sale starting September 1st. When you purchase this bundle from me using my September hostess code (posted here on September 1), you'll receive pdf instructions to make this card along with three others!

Make sure you subscribe to my blog so that you don't miss out on the full offer! Plus, I'll be giving another sneak peak of the Totally Trees stamp set AND one of the Christmas stamp sets from the Holiday Mini catalog soon! Stay tuned!

Thanks for stopping by! Happy crafting!

The Halloween Fun Continues!

Are you as excited for autumn as I am? I spent the early afternoon dreaming of crisp fall days while sitting in the sun watching a parade and sweating like crazy. I may have sweltered in the sun this afternoon, but I spent my morning stamping with my new Spooky Fun stamp set from the holiday mini catalog!

I finished two cards today! Aren't they spooky and fun???

The orange card on the left was inspired by a card I saw in the big catalog. I love using the Stampin' Up! catalog for ideas! Can you guess which card was my inspiration?

The beautiful card on the right with the golden moon and embossed trees is my favorite card that I have created thus far. I used a songe brayer and sponge dauber for the night sky background. I also used the dauber to bring in some rich Cajun Craze color over the bright Crushed Curry moon. I used my blender pens with Whisper White on the trees to lighten them up against the rich background.

The bats and the "have some spooky fun!" sentiment …

Totally Trees Sneak Peak!

If you've been following my blog, then you noticed that the last few days have been a little quiet. I had a crazy busy week and didn't get the chance to do some serious stamping until last night. My fiance spent some time with his buddies which meant I had the house to myself to spread my Stampin' Up! goodies everywhere and craft, craft, craft.

Anyway - the cards I made last night all used stamp sets from the NEW Stampin' Up! holiday mini catalog! I had so much fun playing with my new goodies that I didn't even notice how late it was getting until I looked up and realized it was midnight. Doesn't time fly when you're stamping?
My first project used two stamp sets from the holiday mini catalog - Totally Trees and Spooky Fun. I also used the Leaflets Framelit Dies from the big catalog with my Big Shot to cut out the leaves on this card along with the Woodgrain embossing folder for the green background. I love how easy it is to coordinate products from both ca…
